DotA101: Hero Guide to Luna Moonfang the Moonrider

Luna Moonfang is a range carry agility hero which excels itself  to dealing a massive magical and physical damage. She must be able to farm well in order for this that's why she needs a proper laning support or a solo lane. This hero also farms fast because of her second skill, Moon Glaive which deal a portion of her attacking damage to enemies around and bounces up to 4 times.And also gets a lot of kill during clash because of her ultimate skill which deals up to 1200 magic damage and therefore gives her a high GPM. And im going to give you some tips in her item build up.

For her starting items you can have two Slippers of Agility, a Healing Salve, one Tango and two Ironwood Branch or you can have one Circlet of Nobility, one Slippers of Agility, a Tango, a Healing Salve and a Clarity Potion. This items help you a lot in terms of  last hitting creeps because of the stats given by your items and it can also help you survive in the lane with hp heal and mana heal as a snack.

In early laning you can proceed your Slippers of Aglity to Poorman's Shield or 2 Wraithband. You may also create Ring of Aquila from your wraithband to have some agility stats and as well as some mana regeneration and a bit of armor. For your movement speed, you can have Phaseboots for damage and unitwalking, Power Treads for attack speed and attribute shifting, Tranquilboots for hp regenaration. And of course Helm of Dominator for lifesteal that helps her in farming and is also one of the most essential item for Luna.

While her core items must be giving her the power to survive and deal a lot of damage to the enemy. One item could be Blacking-Bar that gives a spell immunity upon activation and of course gives some strength attributes for more hit points. Yasha can also be a core items because its give you additional movement speed and  high agility stats which therefore gives Luna a lot of damage and attack speed for combat. And lastly, Lothars Edge for an escape item to Luna and also gives a lot of help in terms in damage and attack speed.

And for late gaming, you always need to have luxury items to deal massive damages late in the game. You can proceed to form Manta Style from your yasha to have illusion and help you in dealing damage. While you can also have Butterfly as you ultimate item for you have a powerful damage and gives an increase to your attack speed a lot.You can also change your boots to a Boots of Travel for better movement speed in the late area.And finally, you need to create Satanic from having Dominator, so that you can survive taking physical damages from enemy heroes.

Actually I really don't build Lothars Edge for my moonrider play but for the sake of everyone i suggest that item because most of Luna users take that item as a very essential one for her. I hope you enjoy reading this guide and of course learn from it.
